Projects and files

Upload assets

Add models, images, videos, and environment maps to a project.

Upload files by dragging them onto the project or with the Upload files button. The original is kept and a review copy is prepared automatically.

Prerequisites

  • You are an editor or admin in the project.
  • The workspace has upload allowance left this month. Uploads pause when either the model count or the source volume allowance is used up.

Steps

  1. Open the project's Assets page, or the folder the files belong in.
  2. Drag the files onto the page, or choose Upload files and pick them.
  3. Leave the page open until the upload bar completes. Processing continues on the server after that.

Models with separate texture files

Zip the model together with its textures and other dependencies, then upload the ZIP. Proximae recognizes an OBJ, glTF, or FBX package and keeps the ZIP as the asset's source while preparing a single review copy.

Several assets in one ZIP

A ZIP that contains several independent files is treated as a batch import. Proximae lists what it found and lets you choose which supported files to import. Each becomes its own asset. The number of assets per batch ZIP and the ZIP size are limited per plan.

Expected result

Each asset appears immediately with a processing status and becomes reviewable when it reads Ready. Models are converted and optimized, images get display variants, and videos are prepared for the timeline.

Common problems

  • The file type is rejected. See Supported files.
  • The file is too large. Per-file limits depend on the plan; see Supported formats and limits.
  • Processing failed. The asset shows Failed with a reason. Check Troubleshooting.
  • A video does not play. Only H.264 MP4 with optional AAC audio is accepted.
