Compare versions
Put two versions of an asset side by side or under a wipe.
A/B comparison shows two versions of the same asset in one viewer, with the camera locked together, so a change is judged rather than remembered.
Prerequisites
- The workspace is on Pro or Team.
- The asset has at least two versions that are Ready.
Steps
- Open the asset and choose Compare from the version controls.
- Pick the two versions to compare.
- Choose the layout: wipe, which draws one version over the other with a draggable divider, or side by side.
- Orbit, zoom, and change display settings as usual. Both versions follow.
Expected result
Differences in geometry, materials, and lighting response are visible in one view. Leave the comparison to return to the normal single-version viewer.
Notes
- Comments are left on a single version, so exit the comparison to comment.
