Do my clients need an account to review a model?
No. Guest Share links need no account or installation. Members-only links require sign-in; free Reviewer accounts are available on Pro and Team.
How do I upload a model with external textures?
Put the model and its dependencies in one ZIP and upload that. Proximae keeps your source intact and prepares a browser-ready review copy.
Can reviewers comment on a specific frame of an animation?
Yes. A comment saves the clip and the exact frame. Opening it returns the viewer to that moment.
How do approvals work?
Anyone with approval permission signs off on a specific version. The record keeps who approved it and when. Later uploads do not inherit the approval.
Can I control who downloads the source files?
Yes. Download permission is separate from viewing for both workspace members and individual Share links. Editors and admins can download; reviewers can only through a Share that allows it.
Can I watermark a Share link?
Yes, on Pro and Team. Adjust the text, opacity, size, and angle, and save project defaults. A watermarked link disables downloads and never alters the stored file.
Can I upload directly from Blender?
Yes. The Proximae extension for Blender signs in through your browser, lets you pick the workspace and project, and exports an optimized version of your scene as a new asset or a new version. It is included on every plan, on Windows and Linux for Blender 4.2 or newer. macOS is coming soon and Maya is in development.
Is my work private?
Yes. Only people with workspace or project access, or a Share link you create, can view your files. Files stay in private storage and are served through short-lived links.
Do reviewers use a paid seat?
No. Invited reviewers and Share link guests are always free. Paid seats are for the admins and editors producing the work.
What happens when I hit a monthly limit?
Uploads pause until the next month. On Pro and Team you can buy a capacity pack of 20 model uploads and 10 GB that never expires, or upgrade the plan.
Can I go back to an earlier version?
Yes. Every version stays available with its own comments and approval. Select it from the version list, or compare two versions on Pro and Team.
