Processing statuses
What each status on an uploading or processing asset means.
An asset shows a status from the moment its upload starts until its review copy is ready.
Upload and processing
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Uploading | The browser or the Blender extension is still sending the file. |
| Queued | The upload finished and processing is waiting for a worker. |
| Converting | A model is being converted from its source format to the review format. |
| Optimizing | The review copy is being optimized for the browser. |
| Extracting | Metadata such as dimensions, animations, and cameras is being read. |
| Ready | The version can be reviewed. |
| Failed | Processing stopped. The asset shows the reason. |
Images and videos pass through the same pipeline with fewer steps. Thumbnails are generated separately and may arrive shortly after the version is ready.
Failed uploads
A failed version stays listed with its status and reason. Upload a corrected file as a new version, or delete the failed one to free its slot. See Troubleshooting for the common causes.
