Reviews and shares
How comments, approvals, and Share links fit together.
Review in Proximae happens on the asset itself. Feedback is pinned to the model, the frame, or the image, and sign-off is recorded on a specific version.
Comments
A comment is a thread with replies and mentions. It can be pinned to a point on a model's surface, to a spot in an image, or to a frame of a video or animation. Each comment stores the view it was written from: camera, version, clip and timecode, and display settings. Opening the comment restores that view for whoever reads it. Comments carry a priority and can be resolved and reopened.
Drawings
A comment can include a drawing made over the viewport with the marker, highlighter, shapes, and, on Pro and Team, the raster brush. Drawings are saved with the comment and the version.
Approvals
Anyone with approval permission can approve a version. The approval records the person and the time, and it can be removed. Later versions are not approved by inheritance.
Shares
A Share link brings people outside the workspace into the review. Each share sets whether its reviewers can comment, approve, and download, and whether the link is public or for signed-in members only. On Pro and Team a share can also carry a password, an expiry, a watermark, and named reviewers who are asked to respond. Guests never take a paid seat.
